October 7th, 2025
New series coming October 16th. This will be another incarnation of the halloween series like they did last year.
UPDATE October 17th 4:30pm EDT A page for this series finally appeared on the Topps website. It says "SOLD OUT". We are all in a big huddle trying to figure out what this means. Is this specifically referring to the lottery and there will indeed be more available later? Or did it really, beyond all expectation, sell out in the lottery? If so, it's pretty incredible they'd restrict us to not even be able to buy enough boxes to complete one base set. And also, it means there really was an incredible increase in the popularity of Wacky Packs over the last year. Right now we have a lot more questions than answers. But stay tuned.
UPDATE October 17th 2pm EDT The results of the so-called "lottery" are in. The first roughly 25 people I checked with were awarded the 3 boxes. I was sure at that point that nobody was denied. But now the "I was denied" testimonials are coming in. So apparently some were indeed denied. Does this mean the entire series sold out? It may. But it's just hard to believe that was possible. We'll know soon if no more come available on Topps.com. Stay tuned.
UPDATE October 16th 12:10pm EDT Okay, the series has dropped and we can draw some conclusions. There's a three box limit and a two hour window to order. It's a lottery, not first-come-first-serve. But there's zero chance this series will come even close to selling out in two hours with a three box limit. Therefore, this is clearly a pre-order. They will have to make the rest of the inventory available later and probably on topps.com with normal ordering methods. In other words, we'll be able to make bulk orders later. This was supposed to give everybody a fair chance since clearly there is a hoarder buying up the series lately. But logically this makes no sense, because last time you had five hours to order as much as you wanted. Now you have a two hour window to order three boxes. How does this help anybody? In fact it's even worse now because you can miss the boat in two hours as opposed to five. Whoever's idea this was, they should stop smoking crack.
UPDATE October 16th 11am EST They now say "Limit 3 per Customer" but it's not clear if that's 3 boxes or 3 cases. If the former then this is clearly just a pre-order and there'll be another chance to make larger orders later, maybe in a week or two. That's the hope anyway.
UPDATE October 15th
Series is supposed to drop Thursday, October 16th.
Totally new mode of release.
Here are ordering instructions.
UPDATE October 10th
Here's the latest info. Please don't sue me if any of this turns out to be wrong. But the buzz on the street is that the series will be out on the 16th. This page has the checklist. Unlike ANS 2025 there are two types of foils. We assume the tougher ones will be 1-of-25 but we're not sure.
Now for the bad news. Topps is using EQL to release this series. Here's Topps explanation. Make sure you are ready, you have to sign up at eql.com. This means we all enter a lottery where luck of the draw decides who gets to order, instead of first-come-first-serve. They say they're doing this to be fair. But how is first-come-first-serve not fair? It also means we can each only place one order. There will be a box limit but we don't know how many it will be. Is it going to be one box, five boxes, 100 boxes? Nobody knows. But they probably did this because of whoever has been selfishly hoarding the last two series. They won't be able to do that this time.

$79,300 for a full die-cut box on Heritage.
That's over $3,000 per pack. Wow.

| Warning: Don't Be Fooled - FAKE WACKYS |
 | August 27th, 2025
There are cards being marketed on ebay as Lost Wackys 2025. These are not lost wackys. They are what we call "home mades". And cheap home mades at that. Lots of people make their own wackys. And they are usually more creative than this. And they have very little real value. It's an abuse of the hobby to try to brand these Lost Wackys and to try to capitalize on that legitimate brand.
These homemades will never be indexed on this site, particularly as legitimate Lost Wackys. It is my expert opinion on wacky packages history that there is a legitimate Lost Wacky guild, which I have been a member of since LW1, and to which this individual has no call to abuse the way he is doing. He has not in any way, shape or form earned the creative license to abuse the brand as he is now.
There are always poseurs in the hobby trying to capitalize on your enthusiasm. This is unfortunate (selling under the IDs space_pop, still_lost_25, knight_collectibles, make_mine_marvel), producing this garbage pretending to be legitimate Lost Wackys. Just look at the feedback score of knight_collectibles, one negative out of every 13 transactions, it's hard to get that many negatives)
He prints these at Zazzle, which are cheap photoshop mockups in poor quality. No legitimate wacky artist was involved. If you like cards like this, go to Zazzle and make your own. There's no reason to pay somebody $30 for something that will never have any legitimacy or real value beyond the slew of other home-mades out there.
Don't waste your money. He will keep printing them in as many variations as he can until you're broke.
If you want to collect legitimate Lost Wacky items, then keep an eye on this page because I compile anything valid here. At least anything produced since 2004. There were some pre-history items that are also considered legitimate.
There are no legitimate lost wackys from 2025 or 2024 and there will not be. So anything dated 2024 or 2025 is a dead giveaway.

| eBay versus The Wacky Mall |
| April 14th, 2025
We listed a pretty solid and nicely centered Tan Band-Ache on the Mall for $395. So it was entertaining to watch a much lower grade one end on eBay for $455. The one on the Mall sold minutes later. Knowledge is valuable.
|
| Oh boy this is a bad one. $4,900 for a 16th series set? Plus tax that well over $5K.
See "this set" which sold for $2400 on the Wacky Mall. There's another very solid set still available on The Wacky Mall for $2,500. Or for just another $800 they could have gotten a complete 1-16 with all variations.
How can somebody spend that kind of money without doing the slightest bit of research? Two minutes of effort and they could have saved $3,000.
|
| |
|
Speaking of not doing research, this person made just as big of a mistake as a seller. How hard is it to look up other listings of the items? If you have no idea what something is worth, doesn't it make sense to run an auction rather than list it buy-it-now for $17.12?

| WARNINGS |
|
WARNING EVERYBODY: There are bad eggs in every hobby that will take advantage of the ignorance of newbies and our general enthusiasm for the things we love. It is our opinion that nobody treats people worse than Ernie de la Fuentes, who we assess has been one of the perennial bad elements in the hobby with a bad penchant for bullying. His ebay ID is bandaches-yahoo. A definite avoid.
|
|
WARNING DEALERS: Robert Karaszi is a habitual thief, if you don't give him the deals he wants, he will steal from you for revenge. Karaszi stole two valuable items from us in a mail-fraud scam, and we were not his first victim. His ebay ID is "outpostindigo" you can block him from bidding here.
